FREQUENTLY  ASKED  QUESTIONS

When will I receive my order?

Typically within 7-10 days after your order is placed. We need 2-3 days to prepare your product and  3-7 days for shipping.  Please note: We cannot control the USPS, UPS, Fed Ex or Mother Nature! Shipping times may be longer than expected due to unforeseen circumstances beyond Crafted Caramel's control.  Please allow extra time during heavy shipping periods.

Can I cancel my order?

Yes, but only before it ships!

Where are the caramels manufactured?

The caramels are manufactured in a shared, rented kitchen in Georgetown, TX.

Where do you ship?

We ship our caramel to wherever you are! We have shipped to Alaska and Germany.  Please be aware of shipping costs.  They will be higher out side of the continental USA.  If your state or country are not shown, please email us at craftedcaramel@gmail.com and we will assist in calculating shipping costs.

Do you ship in the summer?

No. not really! Due to caramel melting, we do not recommend shipping during hot weather.  We will typically not ship between May - August.

What is your refund/return policy?

Because Crafted Caramel products are food, we do not accept returns or refunds,  but we know things happen.  If you are unhappy with your purchase, please email us at craftedcaramel@gmail.com and tell us the problem.  We want you to be happy with our caramels  and will do what we can to make that happen.

Why are my caramels different sizes?

At Crafted Caramel we do not use molds.  Each piece is hand cut.  Some days we are straight and true.  Some days are a tad wonky and big.  As a friend said, "perfectly, imperfect"!

Are your products gluten free?

Short answer is yes, except our Salted Pretzel and Chocolate Salted Pretzel.  Long answer is maybe.  Our Original, Salted, Latte and Winter Spice are all gluten free.  The Bourbon & Pecan may be gluten free.  Since bourbon is made with rye and wheat, it is not gluten free.  Yet, many distillers feel that their product is gluten free because of the distillation process.

Is refrigeration necessary?

If you do not consume your caramels within 7 days after receiving it, we commend you refrigerate or freeze them.  Though they are safe to eat, their texture will become grainy over time.  Just take them out of the refrigerator or freezer 10-15 minutes before consuming.

I would like to make a special request.  How do I do that?

You can email Crafted Caramel at www.craftedcaramel@gmail.com">www.craftedcaramel@gmail.com  or you can visit our special request page on this site.
